One company saw this huge environmental issue as a challenge to come up with something even better. That is where Ooho! comes in. Its an edible, biodegradable water bottle made of seaweed and calcium chloride, and even better, it looks like a clear little rubber water balloon!
All a thirsty person has to do it pierce the membrane (your teeth do just fine) and gulp it down!
The product’s designers said, “The clearest inspiration is the way nature encapsulate liquids using membranes.
Made of lipids and proteins, the membrane enclose, limit, and give shape, keeping the balance between the interior and the exterior.”
